今天決定來點小感性+溫馨的小回顧

2013這年很特別

我拿到從小夢寐以求的美國傳播碩士學位

在美國學習生活 實習 找工作 大小雜事自己來  學到好多以前連想都沒想過的新事物

一路走來很多心酸 很多驚奇 現在回顧兩年前和現在的我  想法成長也改變許多

謝謝一路都支持我的家人和朋友  讓我可以認真做自己想做的事  

希望2014 繼續一步步朝夢想邁進  每天都努力就對了!

2013 was a special year for me.

I got my master degree in communications that I've been dreamed of getting since childhood.

Starting a new life in the U.S. was tough but full of unexpected surprises.

2.5 yrs have passed, now I am stronger n more mature both mentally n physically.  

Lots of love given by my beloved family and frds keep me rolling.

I know that 2014 will be another awesome year.

我的生日跟聖誕節很靠近

所以從小都可以兩個節日一起過 很幸福!

今年生日人在L.A.  加上室友要打包回台灣了  所以在我家辦了一個簡單又溫馨的聖誕+送別小趴替

為了歡迎大家   瞧瞧我用心的佈置

My birthday was around Christmas.

2013 was the first time I celebrate it abroad.

We held a small but great BD/ farewell party for my roommate who's heading back home the next month.

Here were our lovely party decorations.

其實很簡單啦  就大家吃吃喝喝聊天敘敘舊

(我還準備可愛的聖誕帽等道具  大家戴起來超可愛的!)

晚餐也是多國料理  有印度咖哩 中式燒臘 美式料理的海鮮 還有義大利麵....有沒有很多元 哈

We had multi-cultural cuisines that night, Italian pasta, Indian curry and Chinese dishes plus seafood from Boiling Crab.

Everyone looked so festive in the Christmas hats I prepared. LOL

吃完飯就是交換禮物  每人準備一樣$15-20的小禮

今年我第一次玩*White Elephant* (也就是: 不滿意自己選到的  還可以搶別人的禮物)  果然刺激多了!

Gift exchanging after dinner was the climax,

because we played White Elephant so everyone could steal the gift from others if you r not satidfied with what you had picked.

看照片應該大家都有滿意吼? 哈哈

Looked like everyone was satisfied at the end. LOL

每次聚在一起都要玩Board Game

這天感謝潔西卡帶大家認識*Taboo* (自己亂翻譯: 不能說的秘密 )

有點像台灣的比手畫腳  不能講出字卡裡下方列出的關鍵字  只可透過比畫或是用描述的方式讓別人猜

每人限時兩分鐘 猜中最多題的team是贏家  

是個可以練習英文的遊戲  同時可以看出來誰的字彙太少  或是表達能力有待加強 哈哈哈

Thanks to Jessica for introducing the fun board game "Taboo" to us.

It was so hilarious when you saw how ppl interpreting stuff by their funny gestures or imagination. 

We laughed like crazy during the game. LOL

敵方每派一位負責描述的人   另一隊還要派出一個人監督他沒有講出關鍵字

跟Rachel一組真的超累  因為她整個比手劃腳超激動  我根本無法好好的看字卡阿.....

(右手拿的是紫色小叭哺  講中關鍵字就要狠狠壓下去)

But anyways, it was fun! 

When one describer is on the spot,

a monitor will be sent from the other team to see if she/he says the taboo words shown on the bottom.

The purple horn will be pushed when the describer gets caught saying those words (oopsy), and then it's time to proceed to the next card.

謝謝大家! 生日這天有你們的陪伴  在美國也有像在家的感覺 

Every one of you made the BD party so wonderful and memorable for me.

Btw 當天的Dress code是*Merry Christmas*

(主要是方便男士們拉  讓他們不用想破頭 穿穿紅綠或金就可以來囉!) 很貼心八

This saved troubles for guys who always struggled about what to wear before the party.

蛋糕是潔西特地到85度C買的  有點像黑森林的巧克力蛋糕  

夠台灣味八!  南加州才有喔

I was so blessed to receive all these sweet cards and gifts.

都祝福你有個順利又收穫滿滿的2014年  

想做甚麼事不要老是想著天阿離我好遠  每個成功都是累積時數的

沒有誰一覺醒來就是公司的CEO  或是超人氣部落客(哈哈 對拉給我自己的勉勵)  

就是現在!  做就對了  共勉之
