今天帶大家來吃藏身L.A.巷弄裡   簡單又平價的日式料理小店 "Yuko Kitchen"

Thanks to my roomie Rachel 

for introducing this amazing "Yuko Kitchen," a small and cheap Japanese restaurant hidden in the alley of L.A. 

這間簡樸不起眼的小店   戶外設有一些坐位   不仔細看真的很容易錯過

With a few seats outside, this simple restaurant can easily be ignored by passersby. 

餐廳雖小也沒有華麗的擺飾  但整體感覺溫暖又可愛

Yuko doesn't have fancy decor but is adorable in general. 

餐廳有很多木頭擺飾  和繽紛的塗鴉  

You can see many wooden stuff with colorful graffiti inside and out.

一走進可以看到這個半開放式的座位區   上方還掛有小燈

An open outdoor seats as you step in.   And string lights hanging above.

一走進室內旁邊有一個斷手的人形模特兒 哈

A mannequin with broken arms stands beside the door. lol

繽紛的點餐櫃檯  這三個顧客還戴可愛花圈

Everything is so fresh here.

櫃檯上的放著好多   看起來好好吃的手工餅乾和甜點

Many kinds of handmade cookies and desert are displayed on the counter, too.

這裡的手工餅乾都很好吃

如果你跟我一樣點拼盤系列  每一個盤子裡都會有放上幾塊1/4大小  不同口味的餅乾當甜點

每一種都新鮮好吃

If you order the plate combinations, each plate comes with 3-4 small pieces of different cookies.

店內小小 座位也不多

第一次來的時候天氣好  坐戶外用餐

We sat in the outdoor area.

上菜囉!

Our meals.

我們點的就是菜單上的拼盤系列 (總共有三款 其中一個是素的)

今天吃的是第一款  Chicken Plate 有點像照燒雞的做法

We ordered the Chicken Plate.

There are three different combination plates.

照燒雞拼盤

裡面有新鮮綜合沙拉(搭配特殊的日式酸甜淋醬), 一杯好好喝的小熱湯,

四塊壽司 日式生薑和Wasabi 醬油   還有一小碟有3種不同口味的手工小餅乾

The plate included fresh salad w sweet-and-sour Japanese special dressing,

Teriyaki chicken, a small cup of delicious soup, four peices of sushi w ginger slices n wasabi paste w soy sauce.

And a small plate of handmade cookies.

不喜歡蔬菜口味的壽司  也可以加美金一塊錢換成"炸蝦壽司" (每一口都吃的到蝦蝦喔  很划算)

If you don't like the "default" veggie sushi, free feel to add $1 more and upgrade to Tempura Shrimp sushi.

照燒雞軟軟嫩嫩

Teriyaki Chicken was tender and soft.

蔬菜壽司裡面有新鮮爽脆瓜瓜  好吃! 

Fresh cucumber in the veggie sushi was refreshing and tasty.

因為太喜歡這間店  所以隔了幾個禮拜又來一次

這次點第二種"碎牛肉拼盤"

Revisited this restaurant a couple of weeks after bc I missed the food here. lol

This time I ordered the "Minced Beef Plate".

今天有把蔬菜壽司換成炸蝦壽司

I replaced the veggie sushi with tempura shrimp today.

肉燥吃起來有一點點辣辣  有台灣的味道喔~

The minced beef was a little spicy and tasted like the minced pork made in my hometown Taiwan.

今天是熱呼呼南瓜湯  好好喝<3

They served hot pumpkin soup today! yummy.

我最愛他們這款巧克力手工餅乾 (附餐每種口味只有1/4塊)

外酥內軟  咬下去入口即化  充滿可可香 (一整片大概$2.50左右)

The choco cookie is my fav. Crunchy outside and soft inside.

It melts in your mouth right away after you take a bite, and the cocoa smell is divine.... (each piece costs around $2.50) 

有機會來吃吃看這間Yuko Kitchen八  沒有parking lot

但是巷子裡常常有位子可以street parking.
